Client pitch, board session, workshop or deposition — sometimes you need a professional room for three hours, not a lease. Munich has a deep pool of bookable meeting rooms, most of them inside the serviced-office centres listed on RentOfficeToday.
What does a meeting room cost in Munich?
Typical rates run €30–60 per hour for a 4–8 person room and €60–150 for boardrooms with video-conferencing, whiteboards and catering options. Half-day and day rates usually cut the hourly price by 20–30%.
What to check before booking
Screen and camera quality, moderation equipment, catering options, and whether reception will greet your guests. Rooms near hubs like Marienplatz, Sendlinger Tor, Ostbahnhof save everyone travel time.
Many centres in our Munich catalogue rent rooms to external companies — open a building page and contact the operator directly, without intermediaries.
The room sizes on offer
Four categories are standard: the meeting room for four to six, the conference room for eight to twelve, the boardroom with representative fit-out, and the training room with flexible seating for twenty or more. Allow 2–2.5 m² per participant, or nearer 3 m² for workshops with group work.
Technical checklist before booking
- Screen size and connections — HDMI, USB-C, wireless casting?
- Camera and speakerphone for hybrid meetings.
- Reliable Wi-Fi plus a guest network for your participants.
- Whiteboard, flipchart, moderation materials.
- Blackout blinds, air conditioning and sound insulation to the next room.
Booking, cancellation, catering
Most centres want at least 24 hours' notice and allow free cancellation until the previous day; late cancellations are often charged in full. Catering is billed separately — check in advance whether you may bring your own. Reception and signage for your guests are usually free but must be announced.
When a permanent room makes more sense
Past roughly eight to ten meetings a month, hourly bookings exceed the cost of a small dedicated room. Our Munich catalogue lists 65 buildings, and many centres rent rooms to companies that have no office there — the building page gives you the direct contact.
